Are meals or snacks provided?

Lunch and snacks are not provided, families bring their own. This ensures your child always has exactly what they like and need. We are a peanut-free facility, so please keep that in mind when packing food.

Is potty training required for enrolment?

No, not at all. We understand every child develops at their own pace. We work closely with families to develop personalised potty training strategies when your child is ready.

We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Private tours are available during these hours. Book yours online and we'll make sure Deb or a senior team member is ready to show you around.

What is your teacher-to-child ratio?

Ratios depend on the classroom: 4:1 for infants, 5:1 for ones, 6:1 for twos, and 10:1 for preschool and Pre-K. Every age group has its own dedicated classroom and teachers.

Do you accept ELRC or CCW?

Yes! We're partners of the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC), so we accept Child Care Works (CCW) subsidies. Bring your paperwork to your tour and we'll walk you through the process, or ask us anything using the form below.

How much does daycare cost?

Part time programs start from $720/month (2 days a week). Exact rates depend on your child's age and schedule, and you'll get full numbers on your free 20 minute tour, no surprises.

What age groups does Chatter Splatter Daycare serve?

We care for children from 6 weeks old through to 5 years old. Our classrooms are divided into age-appropriate groups (Daisies for Infants, Lillies and Poppies for Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-K) so every child gets care and activities matched to their developmental stage.

What does a typical day look like?

Every day is a mix of structured learning activities and free play, all of it intentional. Children move through creative arts, story time, outdoor play, bilingual activities, and group play. We follow the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum, which is interactive and tailored to each child's pace and background.

Is this a play-based programme?

Absolutely, it's the foundation of everything we do. We believe play is how children under 5 learn best, and it's backed by decades of early childhood research. At Chatter Splatter, play and learning are the same thing. Every mess has a purpose.

Do you offer bilingual education?

Yes. Our bilingual staff integrates English and Spanish naturally into every classroom activity, through music, storytelling, conversation, and play. Children absorb both languages without formal "lessons," which is the most effective way to build bilingual cognition at this age.

What is your allergy policy?

We are a peanut-free facility. If your child has an allergy, we require a doctor's note and will make the appropriate arrangements. This may include restricting the allergen from the classroom or providing an allergy-safe table. Your child's safety is always our first priority.

How do you keep children safe?

The safety of every child is our top priority. We have secure entry systems, regularly updated emergency procedures, CCTV, and all staff are trained in CPR and first aid. Our facility is fully designed to be child-friendly and hazard-free.

What clearances do your staff hold?

We are a fully licensed Pennsylvania daycare. All staff hold the required clearances in compliance with DHS regulations: NSOR, Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprints, and Child Abuse Clearance, plus an up-to-date health assessment.

What scheduling options do you offer?

We offer three options: Full-Time (5 days per week), Part-Time 3 days, and Part-Time 2 days. We also offer Summer Camp during summer months.

What perks come with full-time enrolment?

Full-time families receive a free Chatter Splatter Playgroup Membership, giving your child access to our incredible indoor play facility, plus a free weeknight birthday party celebration. These are included at no extra charge.

What curriculum do you use?

We use the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum, an interactive, research-backed programme tailored to meet the unique needs and backgrounds of each child. It develops essential skills through engaging, age-appropriate, play-based activities.

How do you communicate with parents?

We provide daily reports and regular developmental assessments every three months, shared with parents during scheduled meetings. Our team is always available for informal conversations at drop-off and pick-up too.

What is the enrolment process after a tour?
